Baltic Rye Loaf (5-pound)

Handmade with 100% rye flour, our Baltic Rye is a dense, hearty sourdough bread that stays fresh and tasty for weeks. This wheat-free bread is made with whole grain rye flour, natural sourdough leavening, rye malt, caraway seeds, salt, and a touch of sugar (to promote sourdough fermentation).  

Our Baltic Rye goes well with most everything. We love it as the base for avocado toast or quite simply with butter and salt. It is iconically eaten with hard and soft cheeses, smoked and pickled fishes (i.e., lox and herring), and sausage. We couldn't imagine borscht or other hearty winter soups without it.
